Hummdis Communications

Hummdis Communications provides IT Consulting Services for the Small Office/Home Office (SOHO) classification of customers.  While we are willing and able to provide IT Consulting Services to the Enterprise level of customers, most Enterprise level customers already house in-house IT staff or have existing prior agreements with other providers.

Our forte is the SOHO group of customers that have, for the most part, a fixed network setup that does not require large implementations or dynamic changes on a day-to-day basis. For the most part, they are networks of 100 machines or less with IP-based printers, workstations, and servers.

Service Charges, Fees, and Pricing

General Pricing

Our pricing for these customers is affordable and economical.  The technicians of Hummdis Communications have years of experience in the IT world to understand the real world needs or our customers. While schools, colleges, and universities offer a great educational experience, they simply lack the the ability to show the responsible and demands of real world IT installations and the demands of its customers.

Our IT Consultants are available by appointment only.  The fee is $30.00 per hour with a maximum of five (5) hours per day charge. This allows our technicians to be on-site for only $150.00 per day. All services are charged in 15 minute increments consisting of $7.50 for 15 minutes.

At times, we may be available on weekends and holidays, in which case the charge is $45.00 per hour with a maximum of five (5) hours per day charge.  This changes the full day price to $225.00 per day for Saturday, Sunday and holidays (holidays are defined below).

Senior Discount

We understand the financial limitations that retirement or living on a fixed income may cause. That’s why we offer a flat rate of $20.00 per hour to customers who are age 50 or higher.  This flat rate includes weekends.  Holiday prices are slightly increased to $25.00 per hour.  The observed holidays are listed below.

Holidays

The following days are considered holidays to our IT staff.  Therefore, these days will incure holiday charges.

Additionally, phone calls received on these days may not be returned until the next business day.

Travel Charge

If travel to your location is more than 30 miles one-way from our office, a $0.35 per mile fee per trip will be assessed to your total charge. For example, if round-trip travel is 70 miles, then a fee of $24.50 will be added to the consultation fee.
